Summary:
An ETL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to support data warehousing, business intelligence, and data integration needs of an organization. They work closely with business analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from source systems to data warehouses
- Collaborating with business analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements
- Ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process
- Optimizing ETL processes for performance and scalability
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with ETL processes
Skills:
- Strong SQL and database skills
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
- Understanding of data modeling and data integration techniques
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
Experiences:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in ETL development
- Proven track record of designing and implementing ETL processes
- Experience working with large datasets
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS or Azure (preferred)
